Wes Johnson

FROM ELDER STEPHEN AQUINO: He pastored Old Carroll Church in Mt. Airy Maryland and Justus Church in Scranton Pennsylvania. He preached at Cow Marsh Church in Delaware. These pastorates took place in the early 1980's and into the 1990's. He had standing appointments at Wilmington, Delaware and Columbia, Maryland Churches. Brother Wes worked as a Banker, in Harrisburg Pennsylvania and assisted several Churches with their money and tax issues. Among the several father's in the ministry, Brother Wes was an outstanding teacher of the Bible to me. He was a humble man who was not shy when it came to the Gospel. He was always ready to give an answer for the hope that was in him, without hesitation. He loved writing, He authored 'True Perspectives Of Eternal Life', which explains the main doctrinal points of the Primitive Baptists understanding of the Scriptures. This is an easy to read book that every defender of the truth should have. He also wrote 'Based On The Evidence' that details the death of Christ with evidence from the Old testament. It is a scholarly work that is written like a drama depicting 3 episodes. FROM RON JOHNSON, brother to Wes: Wes Johnson died on August 5, 1994. Elder Johnson pastored churches in Pennsylvania and Maryland. He was ordained in Wilmington, Delaware. He loved the truth and was dedicated to the cause of Christ.
