NOBLES, RUBERT E., SR.

Elder Rubert E. Nobles, Sr., age 94, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2012, at North Florida Regional Medical Center. Rubert was born on March 03, 1917, in Bleckley County, GA, to Eugene Willis Nobles, Sr., & Mamie Lee Heath Nobles.

Mr. Nobles was a farmer in Bleckley County, GA, from 1947-1970, a technician with Georgia Kaolin in Dry Branch, GA, from 1955-1982, and an Elder for the Primitive Baptist, Southeast USA from 1954-2012. He also served in the U.S. Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Willis Nobles, Sr., & Mamie Lee Heath Nobles; his first wife, Callie Morrow; a sister, Marie Boothe Abney & 4 brothers: E.W. Jr., Willis, Jacob T., & William F.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Q. Stanaland Nobles of Trenton, FL., 2 sons: Rubert E. Gene (Patricia) Nobles, Jr., of Griffin, GA., & Kermit F. Nobles, Sr. of Danville, GA., 3 step-daughters: Carmen (Jerome) Blake of Trenton, FL., Anna (Glen) Johnson of Christmas, FL., & Linda (Steve) Martin of Casselberry, FL., 2 sisters: Mary C. Nobles of Montgomery, AL., & Jean N. Lovato of Cochran, GA., a brother, Harold Lee (Rhonda) Nobles of Columbia, SC., 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren & 15 step-great grandchildren.

Burial: Interment was at the Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Danville, Georgia.
