Elder Jonathan Moseley is Pastor at Fair Haven Primitive Baptist Church in Tifton, GA.
From the church Website, Elder Jonathan Moseley writes:
My Testimony:
Though I regularly attended services at Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Newborn, GA since my baptism in 2000, I allowed the cares of this world and the pursuit of earthly riches to become my primary motivation in life. In 2017, while practicing law as a corporate attorney for the Bennett Family of Companies, a trucking company in McDonough, GA, the Lord began to work on me through a series of tests and trials. After being convicted that I had not been standing fast for God's Word, I began a deliberate effort to reexamine every aspect of my life in the light of God's Word and then made changes accordingly. Shortly thereafter, the Lord began to burden me with a desire to share with others what I was reading and learning. After exercising for two years, Fair Haven Primitive Baptist Church called me to be their Pastor and for my ordination. I was ordained to the full work of the Ministry on September 7, 2019 by Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church. After commuting to Tifton for a year from McDonough while continuing to work as a bi-vocational pastor, the Lord opened the door in March of 2020 for us to relocate to Tifton. The Lord later saw fit to retire me from being a full time attorney in October of 2020, I have served Fair Haven as a Full Time Pastor though I still maintain my legal license and practice law part-time.
My Preaching Style:
I seek to proclaim God’s Word faithfully and plainly, letting Scripture speak directly to those who hear. My preaching is expository, walking through the Bible verse by verse, yet practical for everyday life—encouraging, challenging, and comforting as the Lord leads. I emphasize the doctrines of grace, highlighting God’s sovereign work in salvation and His boundless mercy toward His people. Above all, I aim to honor the majesty of Christ and the authority of Scripture, helping listeners connect God’s truth to the joys, struggles, and faithful walk of life.
