Johnny Bernero

Elbert 'Johnny' Bernero, an ordained Primitive Baptist Elder was born September 22, 1931 in Memphis, Tennessee. Married to Betty Jaunice Ball and has three daughters, two sons and as of 2001 has 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was a self-employed car dealer. On July 28, 2001, Elder Bernero, 69, of Water Valley, Ky., died of respiratory failure Saturday at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton, Ky. Services were held at White-Ranson Funeral Home in Union City with burial in Harmony Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Milan. He was a member of Rutherford Primitive Baptist Church.
