- Elder Ed Green, the pastor of the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Lindsay, California, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2011, he was 65 years old. He was born on February 10, 1946 in Waco, Texas. He credited his late first wife, Sis. Johnnie McCune Aden for introducing him to the Primitive Baptist Church. She was a Primitive Baptist widow and had two children from that marriage. Her family had a rich Primitive Baptist heritage “and this was instrumental toward my conversion to the biblical teaching of salvation by grace and subsequent membership with them in 1975â€. The Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church of Bell, California called for his ordination in September of 1987. His funeral was held as graveside services only, on November 9th in Lindsay, California.
