Sonny Phelan

FROM THE BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY OF PRIMITIVE OR OLD SCHOOL BAPTIST MINISTERS BY DAVID MONTGOMERY AND MARK GREEN: ELDER NEIL SONNY PHELAN Neil Phelan Jr. Neil Marion Phelan, Jr. was born April 18, 1952, in Malvern, Arkansas, to Neil M. Phelan and Norma J. Phelan of Donaldson, Arkansas. Neil and his wife Marilyn were married on November 1, 1980. They both joined the Harmony Church at Donaldson in April of 1983. He began speaking in the church in 1986 and was ordained as an Elder on April 7, 1990. Shortly after his ordination, he began serving the Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church near Fordyce, Arkansas. In February 1995, he was called and began serving the Harmony Church at Donaldson.

In addition to almost 3 decades of service to Harmony PBC as pastor, Elder Phelan has written many profitable books on a variety of topics that have greatly benefited the Lord’s people over the years.
