Sermon Summary

Elder Clevenger, blessed by God to teach the Bible clearly, comprehensively, and orderly, expounds on Ezekiel's vision in chapter 37 regarding the Valley of Dry Bones.

This is an exposition, a verse-by-verse explanation, and an NT application for believers today. God must give life; without that, we are but dry bones.

While the typical template for this text is "dead bones," please note that they are "dry Bones" because the text does not speak of regeneration but restoration to the obedience of faith.

Solomon's great temple and its construction techniques are compared to the church of God. Both are buildings, and both require God's life. Note the order of the text as he compares it to God's order versus Satan's confusion and man's weaknesses.

The sermon's conclusion is played out on side 2. Elder Clevenger elaborates on the phrase "ye shall know" and the importance of the gospel in the child of God's life.

We do not have a date for this sermon. However, it was delivered in the evening services somewhere in the early to mid-90s in Maryland or Virginia.

May God bless you in the study of His word.
