Sermon Summary

<p>What a blessing it was for many to have heard Brother Cecil Darity preach in person. Obviously, there is no substitute. Thankfully, we have several of his sermons recorded. This sermon was delivered in the late 80's at Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church in Bel Air, Maryland.

Elder Darity's experiential style of preaching is evident in this sermon as he ascribes glory to God in all aspects of His work in us. Brother Darity relates some of his early experiences when the Lord first dealt with him in the Gospel call, and his ultimate coming to the church of Christ. This is a powerful reminder of God's grace in his life. He was a man of God who demonstrated his absolute need for the Lord as he attempted to preach. When blessed to preach, we felt we were certainly in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

This is an excellent stereo recording and one of several personal favorites among many listeners.
