Sermon Summary

We do not have a picture of Elder Spencer Fussell. However, we do have the audio of this message preached in 2000 at the Smokey Mountain Primitive Baptist Meeting.

God's children have the resources of the Holy Spirit in their lives, but we rarely utilize them for our benefit. So says Brother Fussell in this message.

"We fail to grasp what the Lord has done for us." Much of the New Testament is written for a Child of God's assurance of salvation. By believing in Him for the work He has accomplished through the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are afforded the very riches of our inheritance, a foretaste of glory divine. Here is one verse that conveys this.

Elder Fussell breaks down this verse word by word. This is a very encouraging truth that can bless the wandering pilgrim who continually doubts whether God can use and bless him or her.

He shows that this verse primarily reflects our attitudes and that by doing nothing, we allow the devil to overtake and discourage us. We all face difficulties, problems, and challenges. However, they are made easy through the grace of God bestowed upon us. That reflects the parameters of this verse.

Come aside and be blessed as you listen to this well-presented and powerful message!
