<p>“I have found,” Edwin says, that the Bible on cassette tapes
was helpful. While at work and at home, listening to the Bible and also prerecorded sermons, he grew in understanding. One such example is found in
Psalms 37:23, "I believe that text," says Elder Green. But how is it
that different people can have contradictory definitions of the same text? So,
what does Brother Green think? First, what does the text say? 1. The steps of
what kind of man? A good man. Two views are shared: an absolute or a relative
perspective. The man is one who does good. Doing good is the foundation; his
steps are ordered by the Lord.</p>
<p>The word "ordered" can also be manipulated to a
point where it means something different than what it says. What do you think
