Sermon Summary

Delivered at Montgomery Primitive Baptist Church.

Elder Ben begins by reading the Parable of the Marriage, Matthew 22:1-14. He begins by laying the foundational point that there are 2 kingdoms, one in which we enter passively and another we enter in actively.

He speaks about the Jewish nation who were invited to the feast but failed at obedience and thus other guest, the Gentiles were subsequently invited by the mercy of the Lord.
So the parable instead of something yet eternal and in the future Brother Ben speaks to something already occurring.

Then he cautiously reminds the NT church not to be high minded but in soberness be clothed with the garments of righteousness and to keep themselves unspotted from the world.

Consequently, the Chosen are those who remain faithful and obedient by not defiling their garments.

Brother Ben is the son of Elder Barry Cordes. Brother Ben is the current Pastor of Lexington Primitive Baptist church in Kentucky.

He is also a contributing editor of MarchtoZion.com
