Sermon Summary

<p>This sermon was preached at Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church in Bel Air, Maryland, in the afternoon service following the ordination of Brother Asa Mosely to the full work of the Gospel ministry.

It is a spiritually blessed message on the peace of God that we have through Christ and his death on the cross. Elder Fulmer says, Justice was offended, and justice delivered Christ up to death. And because God never relaxed his standards, payment must be made because sin must be punished.

Therefore, God, here in his text, was called the God of peace as this title relates to the accomplished work on our behalf. Please note the points made regarding the tomb, napkin, and stone that was rolled away at the time of His resurrection.

This biblical concept of the peace of God is also applied to the lost sheep that have strayed and are restored to usefulness, as in the case of the Apostle Peter. He&nbsp;would ultimately be used to preach against the very thing he had once been guilty of: denying the Lord. (Acts 3:14)

Brother Jimmy then applies the peace of God to practical elements in our lives: our conscience, our churches, and, in a very personal way, our brethren. Are we peace breakers or are we peace makers?

He closes with&nbsp;thoughts on how we maintain that peace and how it translates into the message of the Gospel.
