Sermon Summary

<p>The sermon featured was preached by Brother Ben Winslett at Mt. Olive Church in Roanoke, Virginia.

Brother Winslett's introductory remarks warn listeners that Satan is not a Hollywood imaginary action figure but a real identity seeking to destroy God's children. One of the many ways to distract the Lord's people is to confuse them with an earthly false hope in political achievements. The message, however, is not political in nature; the message of Christianity, since the beginning and in every age, has been the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Elder Winslett continues, speaking about the resurrection in relation to the second coming of Christ and how this triumphant message is the greatest motivation for the Lord's people. How should we then live?

His sermon continues as he contrasts the truth against the modern schemes to make the second coming of Christ a source of monetary enrichment and excitement. He&nbsp;uses Biblical passages to confront popular theories like the secret rapture and the exact-date promises of the Lord's return.

There is so much more in the sermon that I could possibly share so tune in for another message of God's wonderful truth here at Primitive Baptist Sermons.

Thanks to Brother Danny Hodges of Mt. Olive for this recording.
