Sermon Summary

<p>This sermon was preached at Columbia PB Church in Burtonsville, Maryland. While this sermon is very practical, it is accompanied with many sound doctrinal truths.

Brother Don chooses 3 basic fundamental philosophies of the Bible and sets them forth in a way we can all understand. They are: "Hope for the Best; Prepare for the Worst, and Accept it as it Comes." You will be blessed as this sermon is filled with Scriptures, both practical and doctrinal.

Too often, our times are&nbsp;guided by the philosophy of this world, leading us into confusion. But in this sermon, we learn that the child of God has a hope to be embraced, even when our temporary circumstances are&nbsp;horrible. Using the Apostle Paul as an example, though he had a happy spiritual life with hope of security, his physical life was horrific.

Secondly, Elder Richards discusses what it means to prepare for life's problems. Find out what the "3 Little Pigs" have to do with you! Finally, the last part is instruction on being content. Learn how you can be spiritually blessed right now!

Here is a sermon your children will enjoy, as the Gospel message is presented in simplicity, yet profound truths will encourage you in all areas of your life.

Elder Don Richards is Editor of 'The Banner of Love' out of Lubbock, Texas.
