Sermon Summary

<p>This message was preached at Cincinnati Primitive Baptist Church. It is an amazing sermon!

Elder Sonny Pyles recognizes that without the Lord’s presence his preaching would be in vain.
Using as his main text, Rev 19:11-12, he begins by mentioning the many crowns on the head of the Lord Jesus Christ. He speaks to the emblematic sense of the variety of crowns. The victory of the Lord in fulfilling the law by virtue of his perfect righteousness, the victory of the Lord by becoming a curse for us and the victory over sin, hell and death.

But then he begins on speaking of the victory's we can have as the Lord's people in our everyday life. Because of His many crowns of victory, we too can share in that great success and live for the glory of God right now.

There are areas in our lives that Elder Pyles speaks of directly from the Bible. Every day issues prevalent in 1974. Subjects like the virtuous woman in contrast to the feminist agenda and the promotion of nudity, proper dress for men and women, alcoholic drinking, smoking, rock music, long hair and other topics that young people needed to hear lest they fall prey to the fashions of this world. He warns men and women alike to these dangerous pitfalls. He uses many texts to preach on what might be considered controversial subjects but was moved to confront these new cultural norms.

This is the longest sermon we have on file,(1 Hr &amp; 40 minutes). Part 2 gets very graphic as he uses the Bible to challenge the young in his audience. Parents, are you cowards? Or do you teach your children to obey the Lord?

Many brethren have heard of this popular message, but now you can listen for yourselves.
