Sermon Summary

Have you ever experienced suffering? What does it truly mean to reign with Christ? Can a person still reign with Christ in the midst of their suffering? Is this a paradox worth exploring?

Today, we will be discussing these questions, which have been inspired by Elder Conley's insightful sermon. His teachings have prompted us to reflect deeply on our faith and relationship with Christ.

There are certain benefits to God's children in this world where we sojourn. Are you benefiting from the knowledge and blessings of the Gospel?

Or have you denied the Lord? Can a true child of God have such rebellion? Did Peter deny the Lord, and what does it mean to deny the Lord? Remember, the commandments of God are not grievous. Yet, remember Saul was suspect in obedience to the Lord. Elder Conley says, don't "throw off our faults on somebody else" as Saul did. What did he lose?

How can we be faithful? Listen to another Bible character: what problem with faith did Samson have?

We live in a day that is fast approaching, a day of falling away. What should a Christian do to avoid these danger zones to faith?

Do you want fellowship with Christ? Do preachers want unction in their preaching? Do church members want to feel the presence of the Lord in meetings? What can I possibly do?

How's this: Obedience in simple commands!

Thankfully, Christ cannot deny HIMSELF! This is a faithful saying. Remember our COVENANT position in Christ...which will help you now...because Christ has given us this seal- The Lord knows them that are His! And because He reigns, He gives you the power to overcome—the power to look down on iniquity and trust in Christ.

A sure foundation.
