Sermon Summary

Elder Willie Beal Sr, passed from this life December 4, 2017.

In this recording Elder Willie opens up worship services with a brief reflection upon casting nets into the sea at Jesus' word. He shares a few brief thoughts and sings a portion of the hymn he was known to author, "I thank You, Jesus."

Opening services is not easy. You have limited time because the scheduled preacher is to follow and you must consider his appointment. After you read and comment on Scripture you must also offer prayer. Not many preachers have the ability to limit their time in opening services. However, the most important item in introducing services is to prepare the congregation for the preaching service and offer up prayers for this purpose.

Elder Willie Beal Sr. introduces services with a spirit led, Bible based, uplifting and edifying way. This opening is a God honoring and man-humbling manner in which the congregation and preacher find themselves in the proper mind and spirit of worship.

All in 12 minutes or less, which shows that it can be done with an open and understanding heart.

Elder Willie Beal Sr. will be sorely missed by those who knew him. Please read his obituary as presented in the Atlanta Area Newsletter available in our minister's section.
