Sermon Summary

<p>Elder Sam Bryant is an outstanding Bible preacher. This sermon can best be described as a defense of the Bible's doctrine of election.

Our Lord himself preached the doctrine of election. From the beginning of his ministry (Lk 4:25-27) until the end (Jn 19:37), election was a teaching Jesus set forth without reservation. On one occasion, even his disciples found it objectionable (Jn 6:65-66).

Elder Bryant will teach from the Bible various arguments to help any inquiring, spiritually minded person sort out the reasons for election and address various objections raised by men.

What is God's choice based on? How does Godรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs creation distinguish this doctrine? Does God hate us? Did God create some to go to hell? Is there an alternative to election? Is God unjust? These and other questions he raises, as well as positive proofs that this doctrine can be a tremendous blessing to the child of God.

Of all the subjects this one is most abundantly listed in our sermon titles, however, there is hardly a sermon preached in these achieves that does not touch on the subject of election.
