Sermon Summary

A single sermon can not possibly cover all the ground of what Primitive's believe. But in this sermon, Elder Kirkpatrick highlights essential reasons from the Scriptures as to why they differ.

After a brief introduction he begins with the subject of Total Depravity and explains the scope of it and the necessary consequences. He says concerning man, "He's dead, he did not get sick." If man is absolutely spiritually dead, then he has no faith or spiritual ability to recover himself. He says, "God saves His people in spite of them."

The sermon covers several key points in regards to particular redemption, faith, regeneration and the purpose of the gospel.

PB's do not rejoice in their name, but what the Scriptures teach, they don't honor a heritage apart from the glory of God who called them to the truth. They desire to be "faithful to the faith however scorned."
