Sermon Summary

Elder Stokes brings home the account of Satan also known as the Devil, from the Bible book of Job and asks the question, "Has the Devil ever got his hands on you?"

As he speaks about the trials of Job he reflects often with a variety of questions about your life. (Note, sermons should have questions to keep the audience alert and involved)

Why does God allow Satan to wreck Job's life? How can God who loves His people suffer them to be tempted by the Devil?

Can the child of God experience the difference between a head and heart knowledge? And in what way will Job learn that he himself is evil?

This message was preached at the Black Rock Church in Butler, Maryland. (Pictured to the right) Elder Stokes at that time was the Pastor while He lived in North Carolina. His sermons were always filled with practical applications.
