The Birth of Christ; Isa 7:10-16

Sermon Summary
In this message Brother Bill Allen sets forth the Old Testament prophecy found in Isaiah 7:10-16 and applies it to the ultimate fulfillment in Jesus Christ.
Using others Scriptures such as: 1 Tim 3:16; Isaiah 9:6 and Matthew 1:18-21. This is a factual based message that details the mystery of the incarnation, God with us. A sign that God Himself gives, explained for us in the New Testament, that a virgin overshadowed by the Holy Spirit, who would bear that holy child Jesus. Then refers to the "short summary of the life of Christ" found in 1st Timothy, before moving back to Isaiah's 9th chapter giving the "older meanings of words" in reference to the promised child.
But the conclusion is the cap stone as Brother Allen brings together the great purpose of God in giving us His dear Son, the redemption of His people. He said regarding Jesus' birth, "Born in a simple way, lived a simple life, yet its the most important life ever lived."
The name 'Jesus' also, 'Joshua', meaning Savior. And in Matthew 1:21, the very "nature of His work" is set forth within the context of His miraculous birth.
In this particular time of year let us reaffirm the very purpose of God's unspeakable gift.
