Sermon Summary

<p>This Sermon was delivered on April 8, 2005, at Six Mile Primitive Baptist Church in Caulksville, Arkansas, where Elder Mark Green is the pastor.

Elder David Montgomery speaks on the subject of peace in and amongst our churches. It is filled with encouraging, practical help to help the Lord's children be peacemakers! It's filled with quotes and stories, a great afternoon sermon! One such quote: "There are some things we need to be in complete agreement on," and then there are other things "we need to be agreeable on." He says, in regards to the Kingdom of God which is "righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost," it is not about us...but it's up to us." In other words, we need to work at being peacemakers. Several major points, two of which I'll mention: "mind your own business" and "never seek revenge."

Brother David's sermon is like listening to a history lesson, as he draws on past preachers as examples and on certain types of trouble to avoid. You may find yourself smiling or feeling personal conviction as you listen to his message.

This is a blessed sermon! Every church member, deacon, and elder should listen to it because it helps us focus on proper Biblical priorities, placing the Lord first, others second, and ourselves last.

We want to thank Elder Adam Green for supplying this sermon.
