<p> Michael Gowens was ordained to gospel ministry on July 11, 1981. Since then, he has pastored Liberty Primitive Baptist Church, Smithville, GA (1984-1995), Lexington Primitive Baptist Church, Lexington, KY (1995-2013), and Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, Calabash, NC (2015 to present). He has also authored more than fifteen titles and published books by various contemporary writers among the Primitive Baptists. </p>
