Travis Housley

The following is from The Biographical Sketch of Primitive or Old School Baptist Ministers by David Montgomery and Mark Green, 2001.

Elder Travis Housley was born on March 25, 1943 in Purvis, Mississippi. He and his wife, Elain, have two children: Josh and Lisa (married to Jeff; three grandchildren-Elisabeth, Emily, and Amanda).

He was baptized in 1958 at the Jackson Church, Jackson, Mississippi. He was ordained to the office of Elder in 1973 at the Salem Church in Madisonville, Kentucky.

He has served the following churches as pastor; Fyke's Grove Church - Springfield , Tennessee;  Old Beech Church - Solitude, Indiana; Trinity Chapel Church - Clinton Kentucky; and Dawson Springs Church, Dawson Springs, Kentucky.

Elder James Compton (1905 - 2007)
Elder James Compton was the original founder of the 'Gospel of Grace Tape Supply.' His collection of tapes began as he traveled to Church meetings and Associations recording sermons on Reel to Reel. He has maintained this library of sermons faithfully over the years and are now the foundation of PB Sermons. org. This web site is dedicated to Elder James Compton (1905 - 2007)
