Larry Austin

ELDER LARRY B. AUSTIN

Elder Larry Austin was born in Union County, North Carolina on September 6, 1941. He joined High Hill Church in August 1961 and was ordained as a deacon in 1966 at the age of 24. Elder Austin felt a call to preach even as a young lad, but never expressed it to the church until many years later. He made his first public effort to speak in the Lord's name in December 1973. He was ordained tothe ministry in 1981 when he was called to serve as pastor of Crooked Creek Church.

Elder Austin is continually busy serving among the churches ofthe Original Bear Creek Association and often travels among the churches in the eastern states.

Elder James Compton (1905 - 2007)
Elder James Compton was the original founder of the 'Gospel of Grace Tape Supply.' His collection of tapes began as he traveled to Church meetings and Associations recording sermons on Reel to Reel. He has maintained this library of sermons faithfully over the years and are now the foundation of PB Sermons. org. This web site is dedicated to Elder James Compton (1905 - 2007)
