Jerry E. Wilkinson

Jerry E. Wilkinson was born on January 1, 1943, in Memphis, TN, to Robert Lee, Jr. “R.L.” and Marguerite Fortune Wilkinson.

He served as the pastor of Gum Log Primitive Baptist Church in Bailey, MS.

He loved singing gospel music and had actively sang since the age of 15. From our sermon recording you can hear his quality deep voice which made him an outstanding singer.

In addition to his love for church, Jerry worked in education for 15 years, with Chevron for 18 years as a trainer, and lastly worked at Southwest MS Community College where he developed the Process Technology Program and served as an adjunct instructor. He also enjoyed going to Ole Miss football games.
